This biggest problem for a blogger at this time of year is that you spend so much time attending events that you don’t have time to write about them. Similarly, I have spent so much time drinking wine (yes, not having to spit it out!) that I haven’t had any time to write about it. Nice problem to have, less good when I publish one of these posts and realise I have nothing to link up…
I’m going to have to keep my ramblings brief this month. However, I would love your ideas on how we can improve #Winenot. We get some fantastic linkers but the momentum appears to have died off a bit. We need your help.
My favourite posts from November’s linkup were:
This fantastic account of how Vin Santo is made, by Chestnuts and Truffles. Some absolutely amazing pictures too. I really want to try it but have never seen it here. Does anyone know if anyone imports Vin Santo to Australia?
I often talk to people about training their palate for wine tasting by spending time smelling and really focussing on the flavours of the food they eat – especially typical wine characters like stone fruits, herbs and berries. This fantastic post from Travelling Corkscrew shows that Whicher Ridge Winery has taken that one step further with a sensory garden. Such a clever idea!
Your turn to join in…
