Welcome to #Winenot Wednesday. We have been doing this for 10 weeks now and it is time to mix things up a bit.
We want to make it a bit easier for people to read all these wonderful posts. And we need to make it a bit easier on ourselves. So starting this week, #Winenot will be a monthly linkup. The first Wednesday of each month we will announce our favourites and open up the link up for one whole week. You can link up as many posts as you like and then we will publish our favourites on the first Wednesday of the next month. Easy. I have been devoting so much time to reading and commenting on Winenot posts that I haven’t had time to actually write anything about wine. I’m hoping this will restore the balance
The most popular post last week was from my gorgeous co-host, Willunga Wino with 5 tips to get the most from Game of Rhones. I have never been to one of these days but they do sound very cool. If only more people would take note of Louise’s tip on not swallowing ALL of the wine
I was a bit of a sucker for the newbies this week and both of my favourite posts were from first time linkers:
Wine Lady wrote a gorgeously poetic post about her first year of living in Bordeaux, ‘A year has passed and the sun still shines in Bordeaux’ – how magical does that sound!! Read it and swoon.
Pug’s Modern Life shared a lovely recipe for Red Wine Carmelised Onions. I am a complete sucker for a wine-based recipe and these look (and I’m sure, taste) fantastic.
Check out Louise’s favourites too.
Now it’s your turn, what have you got to share? #Winenot

I agree with Casey, balance is important!

July 9, 2015 at 11:20 am (11 months ago)Hey does it have to be just wine? I’m not a wine fan, but more of a foodie.

August 4, 2015 at 11:11 pm (10 months ago)Oh sorry, #winenot does definitely have to involve wine. You can link up posts that write about food and wine though.
