Champagne and Chips was created because I love wine, food and travel and wanted to share my discoveries. Since beginning the blog I have completed my Wine & Spirits Education Trust (WSET) Diploma, become a WSET Certified Educator and moved very much more into the world of wine professionally. I love telling stories, particularly about wine, because it can be an elusive and confusing topic. When I am teaching, my favourite classes are the early ones of the lower levels because it is then that I have the opportunity to demystify the intimidating process of wine tasting and instil some confidence (and hopefully delight) in my students. I believe in telling the story behind what is in my glass or on my plate – we can all relate to stories.

I am Melbourne-based but happy to travel for opportunities.

Editorial Policy

Champagne and Chips was created to share the stories of the things I am passionate about. I will always express my honest opinion, because I respect my readers and will only recommend items and places that I would purchase and use myself.

Gifting a product does not guarantee coverage on this site or in social media, and I will only review a product after trying it.  Sponsored posts undertaken as part of a campaign are an investment in time, not advertorial control of opinion.

Disclosure to Readers

Where I have received compensation or an invitation that results in a story I will always disclose it. There is minimal negative commentary in this space because I believe in sharing good experiences. I prefer to give constructive criticism privately, as there is enough negativity on the internet without me adding to it. My opinions are always my own, based on my experience at the time.

Republishing Rights

If you would like to republish any of the content or photographs on Champagne and Chips please get in touch first. When my permission is sought, I will always endeavour to support you through reposting and social media promotion.

  1. Hi Nicole, I read this great article from you ( https://www.champagneandchips.com/the-fud-revolution/ ) and I’d like to ask some questions as to what happened to FÜD revolution. What I read is that they went out of business this year. I’d like to find out why, and also more about the type of vending maschine they used. Whenever you have time, just let me know. Thank you, Istvan

I love to hear from you...
