If you missed it. I just celebrated one year of Champagne and Chips. In that time I have published over 100 recipes and reviews.

December is a good time to reflect on the year that has been so I thought it my be nice to recap my most popular recipe posts from the first year of Champagne and Chips.

Your Favourite Recipes of 2015:

5. Molten Cheesecake Modified

In fifth place we have the cake I improvised for My Love’s birthday when I a) forgot to note quantities I needed and b) was too stingy to fork out heaps for biscuits imported from the UK. It is a modified, Australian version of Jamie Oliver’s amazing Molten Cheesecake.

4. Raw Vegan Chocolate Mousse Cake

This one surprised me a little. It was one of my earlier recipes so has been on the internet for a while (which may account for the high number of clicks) but I think there are a lot of us trying to make healthier choices. This cake ticks all the boxes – raw, vegan, high protein, very low carbohydrate and refined sugar-free. A lot of raw vegan cakes have a lot of sweetener in them but this was made for a friend who was on the keto diet so contains only a couple of tablespoons of maple syrup.

3. Nutella Tiramisu

Do I need to comment? Six ingredients, one of them is Nutella, and who doesn’t love Tiramisu? Kid-friendly too- no booze and easy to make.

2. Town Bike Bickies

Golly I had fun coming up with this name. This recipe is an Aussie version of Slutty Brownies made with an Anzac biscuit base and Tim Tams in the middle. Brilliant to take to parties, everyone has a giggle.

1. Sticky Date Cake with Caramel Custard and Cream Cheese Frosting

My most popular recipe is also an award winner. I made this cake for my mum’s birthday incorporating all of her favourite things including my nana’s famous caramel topping. It was part of a Virtual Morning Tea to raise funds for the Cancer Council. When I had to select one recipe to enter in Eat Drink Blog’s writing competition it had to be this one, definitely one of my favourites; and the judges loved it too.

Have you tried any of these? I would love to see pictures if you do, don’t forget to tag me on Instagram (@champagneandchips), Facebook (Champagne and Chips) or Twitter (@nicole_rouge).
